Exhibition of Mitko Panov – Instead of Introduction
Exhibition of Mitko Panov named “Instead of Introduction” will be opened on october 5th 2023 , in 20 h, in the Multimedia centre Mala stanica.
Mitko Panov’s exhibition is designed to show two elements of his work – painting and film. In fact, the concept is a display of creativity where the author is a visual storyteller.
Mitko Panov is dedicated to his creativity, in the research of new forms of expression, where he makes a synthesis between classical painting disciplines, film and contemporary flows of ideas and concepts in art. Experimentation with idea-conceptual premises enables an original artistic product with deepened aesthetic results. The visual perception of the world that surrounds him intertwined with his imagination creates an artistic world in which visual representations are shaped.
Mitko Panov weaves reality as inspiration into his specific creative expression. For him, reality is a space for questioning the emotional presence of man and the search for personal truth and essence of existence. In his artistic universe, reality is conveyed through one’s own experience, understanding and feeling about the world, one’s own existence in it, creating a personal imperative for another reality where it does not change the facts of reality, but changes the way of thinking in relation to reality. The perception through the eye of the artist creates an inner world which, through aestheticized visuality, becomes a picture that reflects the “home” of the artist, i.e. his personal archive and survival.
